A Bit About Me and the Tour

Hi everyone, my name is Keren Zohar and I live in Japan. The Japan I love is the everyday Japan - waiting for the train, ordering a beer, or shopping at the supermarket. That’s the Japan I want to show you. From the small alleys of Shinjuku to the grand pagodas of Asakusa. From the crowds of salarymen rushing through Tokyo Station, to the grandmother selling pickles in Sugamo market. The real Japan is all around us in every place we visit - and I’d love to guide you through it, in all its layers. So, shall we begin? I hold a degree in Asian Studies, am a recipient of a Japanese government scholarship for advanced studies, a Japan correspondent, and have been living in Tokyo for nearly four years.
