Osaka

Osaka (大阪, Ōsaka) is Japan’s second-largest metropolitan area after Tokyo. In the past, Osaka was known as Naniwa, which once served as Japan’s first capital. While Osaka is no longer the capital, it’s widely considered the country’s food and nightlife capital.

The city is famous for its street food scene, including dishes like takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and the infamous fugu (pufferfish), whose poison can be deadly if not prepared properly. Enjoy!

Beyond the food, Osaka offers a great selection of bars, clubs, and shopping districts to explore.
