Lake Kawaguchiko (河口湖) is the most accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes, with easy and direct access from Tokyo. It’s a popular resort area offering a variety of attractions, along with beautiful views of the iconic and captivating Mount Fuji.

The area is especially enjoyable during cherry blossom season (around mid-April) and during the autumn foliage season (typically in the first half of November).
