Nara

Nara is located less than an hour from both Kyoto and Osaka, and is often visited as part of a day trip. Due to its historical importance, the city is rich in cultural treasures, including some of the oldest and largest temples in Japan. In addition, you’ll find deer roaming freely throughout the city - some of them even bowing politely to passersby.
