A Bit About Me and the Tour

Hi, I’m Itay, and this is my 12th year living in Japan. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies, I received a scholarship to continue my studies in Osaka, where I pursued a Master’s degree. My research focused on football fan communities in Japan. During my studies, I began guiding tours, and after a few years transitioned into private guiding. During the COVID period, I worked at a Japanese corporation, which later led me to consult for companies on business-related topics. As tourism returned, I followed my passion back into the field. Today, I run a daily tour company, with our flagship experience being a visit to a sumo training session. I also organize and guide VIP tours for senior figures in business and government, as well as international clients. But above all, I believe the most important thing is to create a fun and memorable experience - after all, you don’t visit Japan every day!
