Ueno Park (上野公園) is a large public park near Ueno Station in central Tokyo. The park is famous for its many museums, including the Tokyo National Museum, the National Museum of Western Art, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and the National Museum of Nature and Science. It is also home to Ueno Zoo, Japan’s first zoological garden.

If you’re visiting in spring, Ueno is one of the best places to enjoy cherry blossoms, with over 1,000 sakura trees throughout the park.
