Mount Misen is the highest point on Miyajima Island, and easily one of the best viewpoints in the area.

You can hike up through forest trails or take a ropeway for most of the way, then walk the final stretch to the top. At the summit, you’re rewarded with wide views over the islands of the Seto Inland Sea.

There are also small temples and historic spots along the way, adding a bit of culture to the nature.
