Miyajima, also known as Itsukushima Island, is one of Japan’s most iconic destinations, located just off the coast of Hiroshima.
The island is famous for the “floating” torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, as well as its beautiful nature, walking trails, and friendly deer that roam freely. Visitors can explore temples, enjoy local street food, or take a ropeway up Mount Misen for panoramic views.
It’s a perfect mix of culture, nature, and relaxed island vibes.
