The Kobe Nunobiki Ropeway takes you up from the city into the mountains in just a few minutes.

As you go up, you get nice views over Kobe and the coastline, and at the top you’ll find the Nunobiki Herb Gardens, walking paths, and viewpoints. On the way (or just below), you can also visit Nunobiki Falls, one of Japan’s more well-known waterfalls.
