Harajuku (原宿) is the area around Harajuku Station in Tokyo. The station is located between Shinjuku and Shibuya on the Yamanote Line. It’s a colorful hub of youth culture - perfect for anyone young at heart. The heart of Harajuku’s youth scene is Takeshita Street and its side streets, packed with fashion boutiques, crepe stands, and fast-food spots aimed at trend-conscious teens.
Just south of Takeshita Street lies Omotesando, a wide, tree-lined avenue often called the Champs-Élysées of Tokyo. Here you’ll find high-end brand stores, cafés, and restaurants catering to a slightly older crowd.
