Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway climbs about 400 meters from the eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko to an observation deck near the summit of Mount Tenjo.

From the viewing platform - located over 1,000 meters above sea level - you’ll get beautiful panoramic views of the “king of mountains,” Mount Fuji.

While most visitors take the ropeway both ways, it’s also possible (and recommended, if you’re up for it) to walk down from the viewpoint. The trail takes about 30 minutes and includes quite a few stairs.
